Assassins and Death Hags are too squishy and get worn down over multiple battles while sorcerers (and magic casters in general) don't see a lot of benefits from more than a few since you can only use 30 magic power at a time. It is fairly easy to get 300 to 400+ magic reserve or more for your armies which can be very powerful.ĭark Elves (with Morathi) are the best race for hero stacking for direct combat as far as buffs go (combining the spiteful and disciplined buffs to get high melee attack, weapons damage, and leadership making each hero equal to a powerful melee lord in strength), but only Dark Elf Masters are actually a good enough hero to be worth stacking. The knowledgable trait is available to everyone (but dwarfs) in some form and should be stacked at every opportunity. Those are the big name one for hero stacking off the top of my head (there are more). ![]() It is possible to reduce the leadership of an army to 0 before the battle starts (meaning you instantly win, unless have have unbreakable units) with enough of them. Various names: There are -leadership to all local enemy armies traits available to certian factions (like the beastmen or vampire coast). Generic trait available to all heros and lords. Dark Elf only for all lords and most heros.Ĭonfident: +4 leadership for all units in an army. Spiteful: +3 melee attack and +5% weapons strength for all un8ts in an army.
